A. Parthasarathy, affectionately known as Swamiji, is a renowned philosopher and acclaimed exponent of Vedanta. In the course of seven decades of selfless service to humanity, Swamiji’s outstanding contribution has been to infuse this ancient wisdom into modern life for peaceful and productive living.
An author of twelve books, including his magnum opus the Vedanta Treatise, Swamiji’s discourses and seminars have enthralled audiences worldwide. In 1988 he established the Vedanta Academy in Malavali, India which runs three-year full-time residential courses on Vedanta for students from all over the world.
Sunanda Leelaram, affectionately known as Sunandaji, is the daughter-disciple of Swami A. Parthasarathy. Under Swamiji’s guidance, she has been studying and researching the ancient Indian philosophy of Vedanta for over five decades. Sunandaji serves as the Head Faculty and Administrator of the Vedanta Academy.
Sunandaji has been conducting public lectures on the Bhagavad Gita in Mumbai for over twenty years. In her discourses, Sunandaji explains the deep philosophical import of the sacred verses and brings the ancient teachings into the context of our modern world.
